New Zealand Secondary Schools Art Competition

This competition is open to all New Zealand Secondary School students interested in designing an Astronomical poster celebrating the International Year of Astronomy 2009.

Competition Theme

Astronomy in Aotearoa, New Zealand

All entries will be displayed on the IYA 2009 website and the winning entries will have their art work published in Southern Stars, the official magazine of the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand.
The winning entry will receive a
ASTRONZ GS680 200mm (8") Dobsonian Telescope
for their schooln generously donated by
ASTRONZ LTD Valued - $849.00
